About the role
The Arlington of Naples is a Life Plan senior living community offering skilled nursing and short‑term rehabilitation. Its rehabilitation program provides PT, OT and speech/cognitive therapy with an interdisciplinary approach focused on helping patients recover following hospitalization, surgery, illness or injury. The Occupational Therapist will work primarily with an adult and geriatric rehabilitation population, helping patients improve functional independence and safely return to their highest possible level of function. Located within Lely Resort in Naples, the facility offers convenient access to Downtown Naples, Marco Island, and Southwest Florida beaches, restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. Responsibilities
- OT evaluations and reassessments
- ADL and self‑care retraining
- Upper‑extremity strengthening and functional activity
- Transfer and mobility training
- Adaptive equipment recommendations and training
- Cognitive and safety interventions
- Patient and caregiver education
- Interdisciplinary discharge planning
- Development and progression of individualized treatment plans
Pay
Guaranteed weekly per diems, even during approved time off; double‑time pay between the facility guarantee and 40 hours when applicable; weekly pay.
