About the role
The School Psychologist will provide psychological services to students in a K-12 setting, collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote positive learning environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement evidence-based interventions.
- Assist in developing and implementing school-wide programs to improve mental health outcomes.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in school psychology.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Educational or School Psychology.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
- Licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in the state of Washington.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Knowledge of child development and behavior.
- Proficiency in using assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
