About the role
The School Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services to students in a variety of settings within the school district. The position requires a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensure to practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Evaluate student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Document therapy sessions and progress reports
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Qualifications
- Experience working with children and adolescents with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
