About the role

The School Occupational Therapist will provide therapeutic services to students in a variety of educational settings, focusing on improving functional skills and promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based interventions to address identified goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Document progress and communicate with stakeholders regularly

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• New graduates encouraged to apply!

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in Washington State
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
