About the role
The School Psychologist will provide psychological services to students in a K-12 setting, focusing on assessment, intervention, and consultation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement and monitor interventions.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and mental health.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Educational or School Psychology.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a School Psychologist in Michigan.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Knowledge of child development and psychology.
- Proficiency in using assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
