About the role
The School Psychologist will provide psychological services to students in a K-12 setting, focusing on assessment, intervention, and consultation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional and behavioral issues
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement and monitor interventions
- Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and mental health
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Master's degree in Educational or School Psychology
- New graduates encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
- Current licensure in Michigan or willing to obtain
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of child development and psychology
- Proficiency in using assessment tools and techniques
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
