About the role

The School Psychologist will provide psychological services to students in a variety of settings within the school district. The position requires a Master's degree in Educational or School Psychology and is open to both licensed and new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of student needs
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions
• Develop and implement intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Participate in professional development activities

Requirements

• Master's degree in Educational or School Psychology
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a School Psychologist in Michigan
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of child development and psychology
• Ability to develop and implement effective interventions
• Proficiency in using assessment tools and techniques
