Schedule

Responsibilities & Skills
- Adult Critical Care
- Aerosol setup (mask, trach)
- Medication administration: Albuterol, Atrovent, Bicarbonate, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Lidocaine, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Mucomyst, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine
- Airway management: Nasal airway placement, Oral airway placement, Tracheostomy care/management
- Suctioning: Nasal airway suctioning, Oral/nasal suctioning
- Sputum specimen collection
- Ventilation support: T-piece, Trach collar, Ultrasonic, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Extubation and weaning from mechanical ventilation
- Troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Flow-by and hand-held delivery systems
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
- Charting System: Epic (experience required)
