Job Summary
Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Overland Park, KS. This position offers competitive pay and a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory treatments and monitor patient conditions
- Set up and troubleshoot aerosol devices
- Administer medications and nebulizers
- Assist with intubations and extubations
- Monitor and interpret arterial blood gas results
- Provide chest physiotherapy and tracheostomy care
- Manage ventilator settings and assist with weaning patients
- Document patient care in the Epic charting system
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in adult critical care
- Current RRT certification
- BLS, CRT certifications
- Knowledge of various respiratory treatments and equipment
- Ability to work nights and weekends
