Responsibilities & Skills
- Bag and mask
- Drawing arterial blood gases
- Emergency Department experience
- Hand-held devices and Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI)
- Nasal airway placement and suctioning
- Oral airway placement and suctioning
- Oxygen tank management
- Pediatrics
- Pulmonary Hygiene
- Sputum specimen collection
- T-piece and tracheostomy care/management
- Weaning from mechanical ventilation
- Adult Critical Care
- BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Intubation assist and suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Trach collar and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- Certifications: BLS, CRT
