Travel RN Tele - $1,694 per week
About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Orthopedic unit at a facility in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves providing high-quality post-operative care for patients undergoing total knee and hip replacements, as well as assisting with pre-operative procedures. Documentation is managed via the Meditech system.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Orthopedic unit.
- Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Assist with post-operative care, including dressing changes and assessments.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during their recovery.
- Maintain documentation accurately in the Meditech system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse.
- Experience in orthopedic nursing preferred.
- Wound care experience is a plus.
Certifications & Licensure
- Active Texas RN License (Temporary Licenses are not accepted).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Schedule
12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) with rotating weekends and two major holidays. 36 hours per week.
