About the role
Travel Nurse RN – Telemetry position in Lufkin, Texas, providing care in a Medical‑Surgical, Telemetry, and Wound Care setting with a patient ratio of 6:1 using the MEDHOST electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs.
- Provide wound care and manage patient assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress in electronic medical records.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical‑Surgical, Telemetry, or Wound Care nursing.
Schedule
Night shift from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM (12‑hour shifts), 36 hours per week for a 12‑week assignment starting 09/21/2026. No on‑call duty required. Blackout dates: December 24–25.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
