About the role
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital IMCU/Stepdown 5RP Unit is hiring a Temporary Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week assignment. Pay rate: $70.00/hr. This is a full-time, temporary position with no benefits.
Department/Unit Overview
This unit provides care to the following types of neuroscience patients:
- Back and neck surgical patients
- Epilepsy patients
- All neurosurgeries (brain, pituitary, etc.)
- Stroke patients (surgical and non-surgical)
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or diploma in Nursing
- Licensure: Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN license in good standing
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
- Experience: Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience
