Travel RN – PACU | Phoenix, AZ

Contract: 13 weeks (August 31, 2026 – November 28, 2026), 36 hours/week, day shift (5:30 AM – 6:00 PM). Weekend and holiday rotation required. Must live 50+ miles from Phoenix, AZ; local candidates are not accepted.

About the role

This is an opportunity for an experienced RN to support a busy Pre-Op/Perianesthesia team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Recent ICU patient experience is required, making this a strong fit for nurses with a critical-care background looking to expand their perioperative experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive care to patients preparing for surgical procedures
• Perform preoperative assessments and identify potential patient risks
• Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure patients are clinically prepared for procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow patient-safety standards

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent ICU patient experience required
• Pre-Op/PACU or perianesthesia experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Day shift (5:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
