About the role

We are seeking a skilled Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assess post-operative patients
• Monitor vital signs
• Administer treatments
• Manage emergency situations
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective recovery
• Document patient progress
• Develop discharge instructions
• Operate PACU equipment such as ventilators and monitors

Requirements

• At least one year of recent PACU experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS or ENPC certifications
