About the role
Provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery in a travel assignment located in Portland, Oregon. Responsibilities include assessing post-operative conditions, monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments
- Manage emergency situations
- Document care provided
- Develop discharge instructions
- Operate PACU equipment
Requirements
- At least one year of recent PACU RN experience
- Valid RN license according to state regulations
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS or ENPC certifications
Skills and Abilities
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English and basic PC skills
- Physical ability to move and lift equipment and patients
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills
