About the role
We are seeking a skilled PACU RN to provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
Responsibilities
- Assess post-operative patients
- Monitor vital signs
- Administer medications
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with surgical teams
- Document patient conditions
- Respond to emergencies
- Develop discharge plans
- Operate PACU equipment
- Participate in handoff communications
- Provide patient and family education
Requirements
- At least one year of recent PACU experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Qualifications
- PALS or ENPC certifications (preferred)
