Travel RN - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

About the role

We are seeking a Travel RN in Med Surg / Telemetry for an immediate opening. As a Telemetry RN, you will monitor and interpret patient data from specialized equipment, provide basic bedside care, and respond to irregular readings and adverse symptoms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret patient data from telemetry equipment
• Provide basic bedside care
• Respond to irregular readings and adverse symptoms
• Adjust telemetry equipment as needed
• Record electronic patient data
• Notify medical teams of critical changes

Requirements

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good vision abilities

Skills

• Interpreting electrocardiogram (ECG) data
• Monitoring vital signs
• Performing corrective actions based on telemetry readings
• Detail-oriented and adaptable
• Efficient patient care management in a fast-paced environment
