About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medical Oncology unit, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Utilize top-of-scope nursing practice and apply evidence-based care models
- Prioritize patient wellness and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
- Model proficiency by precepting new staff
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care
Key Duties
- Deliver care to patients with moderate to high acuity
- Support specialty units such as Med-Surg
- Embrace continuous learning in a dynamic environment
- Participate actively in safety and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Valid Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges
- At least 1 year of experience
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross
