About the role

This position is for a registered nurse (RN) providing direct patient care in an Acute Med/Onc Unit, utilizing top-of-scope practice and evidence-based care models. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, prioritizes patient wellness, and models proficiency through precepting new staff. Responsibilities include managing patients with moderate to high acuity, adhering to specialty standards, and contributing to safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care in a specialized acute care setting
• Engage in team collaboration, patient safety, and quality improvement
• Support new staff through precepting and knowledge sharing
• Maintain patients with moderate to high acuity
• Adhere to specialty standards and contribute to safety and quality at the point of care

Qualifications

• Hold a Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges
• Have at least one year of experience
• Possess BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the Red Cross
