Travel RN ECMO Specialist - $2,450 per week
About the role
The ECMO Specialist RN plays a critical role in the management of patients requiring Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) therapy. The nurse will provide specialized care and circuit management for patients in critical condition and will float to various units including the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage ECMO circuit and patient care.
- Monitor patients for complications and respond accordingly.
- Provide care for ventilated patients and perform centralized care management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Support and train other nursing staff on ECMO protocols.
Requirements
- Must be ECMO trained with a minimum of 2 years of ECMO Circuit management experience.
- 3 or more years of experience in CVICU/ICU preferred.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- PREFERRED certifications: CES-A or E-AEC and LVAD.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
