Job Description & Requirements
Specialty: CVICUDiscipline: RNStart Date: 08/17/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nights
- Manage and monitor patients on ECMO.
- Provide critical care in a CVICU setting, including assessment and intervention for patients with acute cardiac and respiratory failure.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct assessments, interpret lab results, and respond to changes in patient status.
Required Experience / Certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ECMO Specialist with circuit management.
- 3 or more years of experience in CVICU or ICU settings preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Pursuing CES-A or E-AEC and LVAD certifications is preferred.
- 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR is required.
