About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for neonatal patients requiring intensive monitoring and specialized treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests and monitor patient vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient progress and communicate with family members and referring physicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Nebraska.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) procedures.
- Knowledge of ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) techniques.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours long, with days being the standard schedule.
