About the role

FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution – offers premium compensation and maximum flexibility for experienced Respiratory Therapists (RRT). Assignments are short- and long-term throughout the health system, with nationwide and regional opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed.
• Adhere to AARC guidelines and professional practice standards.
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and experience.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner Accredited Respiratory Therapist program (registry eligible).
• Current CRT and/or RRT credential; NPS preferred.
• Valid state license in Respiratory Care if required in the state of practice.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other health personnel in line with mission and values.
• Analytical skills to identify patient needs.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Pay

Gross weekly rate: $2,520.

Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts.
• 13-week assignment starting ASAP.
• Location: Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MA.
