About the role
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, treating, and managing patients with respiratory conditions
- Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Performing diagnostic tests and monitoring equipment to ensure proper oxygen delivery
- Educating patients and families on medication use and equipment operation
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license and current BLS certification
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS or PALS certifications
- Additional certifications may be required
