Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses. The role involves collaborating with physicians on treatment plans, performing diagnostic tests, administering therapies, monitoring equipment, and educating patients and families. It requires independent assessment, treatment, and management of respiratory conditions, often in ICU and emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians on treatment plans
• Perform diagnostic tests related to respiratory care
• Administer respiratory therapies
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care
• Assess, treat, and manage respiratory conditions independently

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Valid respiratory therapy license in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Qualifications

Preferred certifications include ACLS or PALS.
