About the Role

A Travel Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory conditions
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform diagnostic tests and administer respiratory therapies
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment
• Record and track patient progress
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management
• Work with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform other duties within the scope of respiratory therapy practice

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid state respiratory therapy license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
