About the role
We are seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans
- Assessing and managing patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Performing diagnostic tests and administering therapies such as chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications
- Monitoring equipment to ensure proper oxygen delivery
- Recording patient progress and educating patients and families
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
- Performing additional duties within the scope of practice
Requirements
- At least one year of recent experience
- RRT credential from NBRC
- Valid state license
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS or PALS certification
