Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses. The role involves assessing, treating, and managing patients in collaboration with healthcare teams, developing treatment plans, performing diagnostic tests, and educating patients and families on medication use and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with physicians on treatment plans
• Performing diagnostic tests and treatments
• Monitoring equipment and patient progress
• Documenting patient status
• Educating patients and families
• Performing additional duties within RRT scope

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• RRT credential from the NBRC
• Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred qualifications include ACLS or PALS certifications, along with other relevant licenses.
