Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

About the Role

Provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses. Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, treat, and manage respiratory conditions, perform diagnostic tests, operate and monitor equipment, educate patients and families, and document patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on treatment plans with healthcare teams
• Perform patient assessments and diagnostic tests
• Administer respiratory therapies and monitor equipment
• Record and maintain accurate patient data
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care

Requirements

• At least one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• NBRC credential
• Valid state license
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS or PALS certifications

Skills

• Critical thinking and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
• Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel
• Handle stressful situations while maintaining attention to detail
