Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Role: A Travel Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses. Responsibilities: Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, assess and treat patients, perform diagnostic tests, operate and monitor respiratory equipment, record patient progress, educate patients and families, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care. Qualifications: Requires at least one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, RRT credential from NBRC, valid state license, and current BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include ACLS or PALS certifications. Skills & Abilities: Critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures, and mental resilience to work under pressure. Must have visual acuity and proficiency in English and PC skills.
