About the role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses. The role involves assessing, treating, and managing patients, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests related to respiratory care
• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management

Requirements

• At least one year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• Valid state license in respiratory therapy
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

Preferred certifications include ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
