Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) for a healthcare organization located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This position involves working in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a busy Labor and Delivery Unit. The role requires providing respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients, with responsibilities that include floating to related units such as Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Emergency Department, Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical Surgical. The position involves night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotation, with a focus on delivering high-quality respiratory support in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a Level III NICU.
• Float to related units including Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Emergency Department, Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical Surgical.
• Work night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotation.
• Adapt to floating to various units such as PICU, Pediatrics, Emergency Department, Adult ICU, and Medical Surgical.
• Comply with all unit-specific protocols and standards.

Requirements

• Valid license/certification verification.
• Relevant professional experience of at least 1 year.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a Level III NICU (preferred).
• Experience floating to pediatric and adult units (preferred).
