Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,519 per week

About the role

A travel Respiratory Therapist is needed for a 13-week assignment starting on August 17, 2026, in Johnson City, New York. The shift is 12 hours, nights, and every other weekend, totaling 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in critical care, NICU, and V60 BiPAP/980 Puritan Bennett Ventilators environments.
• Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Administer treatments and monitor patients' responses.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of critical care, NICU, and/or V60 BiPAP/980 Puritan Bennett Ventilators experience.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in New York State.
• Knowledge of advanced ventilator techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist from the National Board for Certification in Respiratory Therapy (NBCRT).
