About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 17, 2026, in La Mesa, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients in a Level III NICU setting.
- Administer treatments including oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and other respiratory interventions.
- Monitor patient’s respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a Level III NICU setting.
- Experience with managing 600 deliveries per month.
- Maintain a current RCP license in California.
- Hold a current BLS certification.
- Hold an ACLS and PALS certification.
Qualifications
- Preferred but not required: RRT certification.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in respiratory therapy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Pay
$2618 weekly, based on California overtime rates. RRT certification is preferred but not required.
Schedule
12-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
