About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
- Assess patients' respiratory status and document findings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Train patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Wisconsin.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
