About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 12, 2026, in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory treatments.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Virginia.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Successfully completed an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of respiratory therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay package is based on a 12-hour shift and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
