Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,827 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week contract in Cleveland, Ohio. The position starts ASAP, requires 36 hours per week on night shifts (three 12‑hour shifts). The therapist will provide intensive respiratory care, patient transport, evaluate patients, recommend treatment plans, explain procedures, and provide discharge education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physician‑prescribed treatments using ventilatory equipment, oxygen, aerosol devices, and nebulizers.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning by various methods.
• Monitor oximetry and capnography according to policy.
• Review patient chest x‑rays and perform pulmonary function studies.
• Assist with respiratory care procedures including bronchoscopy and chest tube placement.
• Perform tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tracheostomy tubes.
• Conduct arterial punctures; monitor, record, and report test results.
• Perform routine cardiopulmonary resuscitation per BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Set up and maintain mechanical ventilation equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient responses.
• Communicate with physician teams regarding therapy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory testing policies and procedures.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid respiratory therapy license and relevant certifications. Previous experience in respiratory care settings is preferred.
