Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,827 per week

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients under the direction of a physician.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory therapies.
• Assess patient needs and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory diseases and treatments.
• Effective communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
