About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 2, 2026, in Galax, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services under the direction of a physician
- Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions
- Assess patient conditions and adjust treatments accordingly
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Virginia
- Experience in acute care settings preferred
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS)
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in computer systems and documentation software

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with a start date of August 2, 2026.
