About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 12-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Port Huron, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory therapies.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficiency in using respiratory equipment and monitoring devices.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
