Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,507 per week

About the Role

Respiratory Therapy unit on the 3rd floor, Tower A, at a 368-bed hospital with 34 staff members. Patient ratio of 36 UOS. Equipment includes V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric, and AIRVO. EMR system is Meditech. Floating required to all areas covered in the hospital. Does not accept local candidates; 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions. Black scrubs required.

Schedule

• Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week (3×12-hour shifts)
• Rotating weekend shifts required
• No call requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform ABG and ventilator management
• Nitric oxide management
• Bronchoscopy assistance
• Intubation assistance
• Nebulizer treatments
• HFNC (high-flow nasal cannula) therapy
• Work as part of a team-oriented respiratory therapy staff

Requirements

• CRT or RRT license (required)
• ACLS and BLS certification (required)
• NRP certification (required for staff caring for neonates)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (required)
• CVICU experience and Nitric management experience (preferred)
• Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months for allied candidates
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional references required (two for Florida and Missouri; one for all other states)

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
