Travel Reset Merchandiser - San Antonio

Responsibilities

• Decipher plans/prints.
• Work with crews during reset/remodel, meeting time expectations while maintaining work quality and safety.
• Build specialty merchandising units, stands, and displays.
• Profile bays and sections, including shelving and accessories.
• Install fixtures such as pallet racking, gondolas, etc.
• Ensure fixture plans align with blueprints for new and remodeled stores.
• Set merchandise according to planograms.
• Follow-up with company on construction, electrical, plumbing, or painting needs.
• Order and set up vendor fixtures within required time frames.
• Clean or paint fixtures as necessary.
• Restock account inventories by moving product from back rooms to displays and shelves.
• Maintain product placement schematic integrity while managing re-merchandising projects.
• Comply with safety program requirements, including SIM and POG SOPs.
• Conduct POG audits.
• Use technology to manage electronic shelf tags.
• Provide customer service, including greeting customers and guiding them to the right section.
• Manage store inventory management (SIM) and POG SOPs.
• Travel as needed.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Experience with home improvement stores, big box retail, pharmacies, planograms, national rollouts, remodeling, gondolas, new stores, and national racking standards.
• Knowledge of floor plans and fixture placement drawings.
• Ability to read and understand directions and instructions on smartphones or tablets.
• Knowledge and ability to use hand tools, including power tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Lift up to 86 pounds.
• Reach, climb ladders, stand, bend, pull, push, twist, and kneel.
• Bend, squat, extend arms upward and downward, stand for long periods.
• Work in hot and cold environments.
• Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus).
• Travel as needed.
