About the Role

The Travel Repair Technician will service repairs of InBody New York products, perform general maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment for clients across multiple sites in the United States. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Carlstadt, NJ and reports to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform in‑house and on‑site product service and repairs.
• Communicate with customers to schedule on‑site appointments and coordinate repair details.
• Track, organize, and log returned products, including consumer returns, internal equipment, and customer devices.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of products.
• Prepare service and repair quotations and follow up on payment collection.
• Provide maintenance such as technical inspections, repairs, and calibrations.
• Assemble and disassemble products for service repairs.
• Prepare reports and other data for accurate recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments on technical and customer‑service issues.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in product support or repair, preferably in the medical device or electronics field.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong critical‑thinking and communication abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective teamwork skills while also being self‑motivated and capable of independent work.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the work schedule.
• Availability Monday‑through‑Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 lb.
• Bonus: Knowledge of CRM or help‑desk/ticketing systems.

Pay

Hourly rate range: $25 – $30 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time, onsite position at the Carlstadt, NJ warehouse. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with occasional overtime. Travel up to 50% of the work schedule is required.
