About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in critical care units and floors.
- Perform routine and emergency procedures using advanced medical equipment.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including those related to infection control and safety protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
Requirements
- North Carolina Respiratory License
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Qualifications
- Experience in critical care settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
