This position involves delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients. The role includes performing diagnostic procedures, maintaining clinical expertise, communicating with patients and staff, documenting patient care, supervising other respiratory professionals, and completing billing information. Job Details Required Qualifications: Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program, certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience: At least 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience in an ICU or floor setting. Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12-hour shift schedule, minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Information: Trained NICU experience required, with preferred skills in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal experience. Candidates must have EPIC experience and competencies with equipment such as Puritan 980 machine, Hamilton Transport, and Servo U; arterial blood gas (ABG) testing competence required. Certifications & Licenses: Must be registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care, licensed in Michigan, and hold BLS certification.
