Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics - $2,652 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with respiratory issues.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary rehabilitation, and airway clearance techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting therapy as necessary based on patient responses.
• Provide emergency respiratory care to patients experiencing respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, or other life-threatening situations.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop a holistic care plan for respiratory patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, medications, and progress.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with new techniques, equipment, and best practices in respiratory therapy.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state of Oklahoma.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay

Tax-free stipend amount to be determined based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week.
