About the role

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a Pediatric Sleep Lab setting, working nights at a healthcare facility. This role involves performing sleep studies on medically complex children, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures within the Sleep Evaluation Center. The position requires a focus on pediatric respiratory care and sleep diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sleep studies in accordance with established policies in the Sleep Evaluation Center.
  • Conduct studies on pediatric patients, including medically complex children, at the bedside and in critical care areas.
  • Operate Respironics and ResMed equipment.
  • Use Natus sleep software for study acquisition and analysis.
  • Work comfortably in an acute care setting; orientation provided.

Requirements

  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC.
  • West Virginia licensure as Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered (LRTR) or Licensed Respiratory Therapist Certified (LRTC).
  • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
  • 18 months of sleep lab experience.
  • Valid Respiratory Therapist certification in one of the following: Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or Registered Sleep Disorder Specialist (SDS).

Schedule

Shift: 7 pm–7 am (12‑hour nights), minimum 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Pay

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
