TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel.

We're looking for a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds‑RRT) for an immediate travel position opening in Cincinnati, OH. The right Peds‑RRT must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. As a Peds‑RRT, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patient being treated
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (requirements list indicates 2 years)
• NBRC‑RRT certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – may be required in some areas
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – may be required in some areas
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Physical demands

• Able to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Able to easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
