Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU - $2,450 per week

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located in the region. This role involves providing high-quality diagnostic, therapeutic, and critical care to neonatal patients, including assessments, treatments, and family support. The position requires performing evaluations, documenting care, and ensuring patient safety within established clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments
• Deliver therapies
• Assist physicians
• Equipment maintenance
• Infant transport within referral systems
• Document all clinical activities
• Adhere to patient care guidelines and safety protocols
• Provide education and support to families

Requirements

• Valid Respiratory Therapist credential from the North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care and the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from RQI Partners
• 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, with at least 1 year in NICU settings

Qualifications

• Experience in neonatal intensive care environments
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
